Website design cost in the UK and US: what actually changes the number
8 September 2026 · 7 min · Neutrix Lab
A straight explanation of website, branding, and app pricing ranges — and what Neutrix Lab writes into a proposal before production starts.
There is no honest “website for $499” for a real company
Search demand for website design cost is huge. The honest answer is a range, then a scope. A five-page custom website is not a 40-page portal. An ecommerce catalog is not a brochure. Mobile app development is a different product. Neutrix Lab publishes starting ranges on the pricing page so you can see the lane before a call.
What moves the quote
Pages and templates. Integrations (CRM, payments, booking). Content you will write vs content we must invent. Languages. Accessibility. Who hosts. Rush timelines. None of that belongs in a surprise invoice if the proposal is written first — which is how we work.
UK and US clients get the same remote studio. Phones are listed for both regions. The work is scoped in English, with hours Mon–Fri.
How to use our pricing page
Pick the service (web, branding, ecommerce, apps, portals), then the tier. Combos exist if you want brand + web without two vendors. Payment is typically milestone-based: kickoff, design approval, launch.
When you are ready for a number that matches your brief, use the contact form. We reply within one business day with next steps — not a fake instant quote.
